Industrial safety requirements for work at heights
Works at height belong to works with the increased danger and are included in the corresponding list of types of works to which the increased requirements for labor protection are imposed.
Persons not younger than 18 years old who have passed a medical examination without contraindications to performing work at heights (previously upon admission to work, thereafter periodically once every two years), have professional skills, have undergone training in safe methods and methods of work, instruction and testing of knowledge on labor protection issues and those who received the appropriate certificate are allowed to perform work at height
Workers of all specialties, appointed to perform work at height-installers, riggers, welders, cutters, locksmiths, etc., must undergo a medical examination, instruction, training, testing of knowledge on safe methods of work, have the appropriate certificates for the right of their production and be allowed to perform work in the prescribed manner
